With a relaunch of its in-house IT software suite, JettWare, Jettainer said the new functions and modernized user interface will enable the ULD management company to better locate both serviceable and unserviceable ULD units at airports.
Revisions in the new software provide station overview screens, which show all the planned movements of pallets and containers at a specific site. JettWare also allows users to individually summarize all relevant ULD movements – both those on board an aircraft and those in transit on a road feeder service – and presents this information in a revamped visual layout.
JettWare 2.0 also introduces new features to manage messages generated for exchanged units between fleets of different airlines. According to Jettainer, these features allow users to search for individual units and air waybills. The new functions also apply to the mobile application called JettApp.
The new software will be made available to all new customers, the company added, and will be rolled out gradually for existing customers.
