IAG Cargo’s Cargo Connector delivery service is now available in eight U.S. cities. The import delivery service takes freight off the aircraft and delivers it directly to the forwarder’s handling facilities. Initially Cargo Connector was offered as only an export collection service, but IAG has since expanded to handle import delivery as well.
The service is available in San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Seattle and Houston for shipments under 650 pounds. The service is available Tuesday through Saturday, with advance booking required. Freight screening can be arranged as needed.
IAG has been operating a small freight collection service through Cargo Connector since 2012. The service is also available at IAG Cargo’s U.K. hubs at London Heathrow, and Frankfurt International Airport.
