Turkish Cargo launched weekly freighter flights connecting Istanbul to Miami and Houston, both strategical cargo destinations for the Istanbul-based carrier. Turkish Cargo’s Miami/Houston cargo flights will utilize the carrier’s recently acquired 777-200Fs.
The new freighter route connects Miami and Houston to 120 countries through more than 300 destinations with its Istanbul-Madrid-Miami departing flights and Miami-Houston-İstanbul return flights.
Turkish Cargo, is currently carrying 110 tons of belly cargo weekly on Turkish Airlines passenger aircraft to Chicago, Atlanta and New York, and expects the new cities to boost those volumes by up to 220 tons weekly to and from the United States.
