UK-based charter broker and freight forwarder Priority Freight is expanding its operations in the Midlands region of the UK. To coincide with its 10-year anniversary in the region, Priority Freight is expanding its presence, and investing US$3 million in new facilities. The company opened an office in Coventry in the central Midlands in 2005 and will now open a new hub at the location, providing 24/7 service beginning in January 2016.
The new facility will have 25,000 square-feet of warehouse space available for contingency warehousing, forward stock location and replenishment, fulfilment, storage and archiving.
Priority Freight operates 24/7 across the globe from six control centers, handling over 100,000 expedited shipments annually. Founded in 1996, company revenues exceeded $100 million during the 2013/14 financial year.
