Jet fuel rates drop further in August

Spot jet fuel prices declined further in August, with a monthly average rate of $3.33 per gallon. The monthly average remains 82% higher than August 2021, 2 percentage points lower than July’s year-over-year change and 58 percentage points lower than June’s YoY change.   The highest rate for the month was $3.76 per gallon on Aug.
