China Airlines and Fraport Cargo Services have renewed their cargo handling agreement at Frankfurt Airport, carrying on a partnership of more than 20 years. China Airlines is the only airline flying nonstop from Germany to Taipei, and it plans to expand to daily service in June 2016.
Fraport Cargo Services, a subsidiary of airport management company Fraport AG, recently formed a partnership with Worldwide Flight Services for airfreight handling at Frankfurt Airport. Fraport sold 51 percent of FCS to Worldwide, which is an independent air cargo handler. FCS handles approximately 500,000 tonnes of airfreight per year for approximately 40 airline customers.
