Today, logistics service provider Cargo-partner said it will increase its existing Southeast Asia network footprint to include Singapore by opening a logistics center, located 45 minutes from Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) the major hub in the region.
The company has been active in its expansion in Southeast Asia since 2004, opening offices in Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam since then — and, most recently, a logistics center in Bangkok in August 2017.
After a recent report of record-breaking freight volumes for 2017 at SIN, it comes as no surprise to see more freight forwarding companies appearing around the hub, which is evidently an increasingly popular channel among industry members.
