Global aircraft charter provider, Air Charter Service, Inc., has recently moved its North American headquarters to RXR Plaza, near New York City. The modern high-rise is ACS’s fourth New York office since establishing itself in the United States just over a decade ago.
Formed in London in 1990, Air Charter Service opened its doors in California in 2004 with just a handful of employees. Today, ACS New York has grown to become one of the company’s most successful offices, and has helped establish locations in Toronto, Los Angeles, Houston and São Paulo. The company now employs more than 300 staff worldwide. The service has 18 offices in five continents, offering private jet, commercial airliner and cargo aircraft charters
The company arranges more than 9,000 charters annually. In 2014 it flew about 40,000 short tons of cargo, more than 327,000 passengers and had revenue in excess of US$450 million.
