American Airlines Cargo has introduced Athens, Lisbon and Venice to its summer schedule for 2015.
Cargo service between Lisbon and Philadelphia, as well as Venice and Philadelphia, began on March 29. Service between Athens and Philadelphia will start on April 15.
These expanded service points will provide customers with new direct options for shipping with AA Cargo. Lisbon and Athens will be served using a 757 aircraft, while Venice will be served by an A330-300.
The two new links to a major U.S. city on the Eastern Seaboard will provide extra capacity for the fashion industry in Italy to send small-sized, time-sensitive items, such as couture clothing, directly to American markets, said Tristan Koch, regional managing director, cargo sales.
