Jettainer has completed the certification process of its outsourced ULD repair partners worldwide. According to the ULD management specialist, all of the servicing companies in its network have shown that they can conform to Jettainer’s expectations and, therefore, have received the “certified repair partner” seal.
Owned by Lufthansa, Jettainer, which manages and repairs outsourced ULDs, introduced the “certified repair partner” seal for repair workshops handling airfreight ULDs this past spring. As part of the certification process, Jettainer considers the composition of ULD fleets and airlines’ specific routes and networks. It also evaluates preferred repair sites in terms of efficient unit scheduling, as well as maintenance and servicing processes. Jettainer said it will continually monitor, adapt and enhance its network of certified repair partners as it expands globally.
