MASkargo, the air cargo division of Malaysia Airlines, transported a pair of giant pandas from China to Kuala Lumpur.
FuWa and FengYi were onboard MASkargo’s A330-200 freighter. Flight MH 6462 made a special ferry flight to Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport from Shanghai Pudong International Airport before heading to Kuala Lumpur International Airport with the pandas.
“In a development that augurs well for Malaysia, we are proud to be a part of such a significant event. It is an honor for MASkargo to transport one of the national treasures of the Republic of China to Malaysia,” Mohd Yunus Idris, CEO of MASkargo, said.
With almost 20 years of experience, MASkargo Animal Hotel is equipped with expertise on live animal handling and transportation.
