Dutch-headquartered GSSA company FlyUs expanded its European operations to include Paris following the acquisition of a majority shareholding in Transnautic France.
Transnautic France has been managed since its creation in 2006 by Emmanuèle Deleau. The company changed its name to FlyUs France on March 1 and will continue to be headed by Deleau as country manager.
“We are thrilled to be a part of the FlyUs group. It is a really pro-active, forward-looking company with a management which really wants to make its mark in every country from which it operates,” she said.
The new FlyUs office is located in the cargo area at Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport.
“Emma and her team provide us with the perfect entrée to the French market,” Carlo de Haas, FlyUs founder and managing director, said. “She has a strong suite of airlines already in her portfolio, and we believe this is a great platform from which we can grow the business not only in Paris, but in other areas of the country too.”
