Air France-KLM’s cargo revenue in the Asia-Pacific also dropped last month, falling 1.7 percent, year-over-year, despite a 3.6 percent, year-over-year surge in load factor.
June also proved to be a challenging month for Air France-KLM’s freight operations in the Caribbean/Indian Ocean region. In addition to RTK sliding 2 percent, year-over-year, the carrier’s load factor dropped 1.2 percent from June 2011, according to the press release. Capacity to this region rose, however, increasing 1.1 percent, year-over-year.
