Illinois-based air and ocean freight forwarder RIM Logistics acquired a 315,000 square foot facility in Santa Fe Springs, 22 miles east of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), which the company says will host forwarding, warehousing and distribution operations under one roof.
Its new facility will have 40-foot ceilings and 68 doors – construction to be completed in July of this year. RIM currently has several U.S. locations, five in Western Europe, and two in Southeast Asia.
