Germany-based logistics company Dachser is bolstering its foothold in the American automotive industry with the opening of a Detroit office, its fifth addition in the Midwest region of the United States.
“After recently expanding the Cincinnati and Minneapolis offices, Detroit was the next logical step for our Midwest expansion,” said Frank Guenzerodt, president and CEO of Dachser USA Air & Sea Logistics Inc. The company’s new location in the automotive capital of the country, with proximity to Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW), will appeal to international customers in the auto industry.
Guenzerodt continued that the investment underlines the company’s intent to improve communication between its markets, including Latin America, which has seen a resurgence in its economy during H1 2018.
