CEVA Logistics has signed an agreement with cosmetic retailer Sephora, which is owned by luxury goods company Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton. This marks CEVA’s expansion into the beauty industry in Brazil.
CEVA said it has invested heavily in climate-control infrastructure to enable the storage and handling of over 7,000 SKUs produced by Sephora and approximately 3 million individual order items each year. CEVA will manage the inbound, warehousing, outbound and reverse logistics at Sephora stores across Brazil.
Under the contract, CEVA will consolidate a variety of cosmetic products, such as makeup, fragrances, hair care products, accessories, body and bath products, and its own brand, Sephora Collection, from 40 distribution points within Brazil into one of CEVA’s multi-user sites located just outside of São Paulo.
