Swiss Airtainer, Swiss WorldCargo and BPL Biotech & Pharma Logistics have launched a solar-powered “self-sustaining airfreight container” that weighs 250 kilograms less than competitors’ containers, resulting in less fuel consumption.   The first shipment with this container, which is designed to carry pharmaceuticals, went from Basel, Switzerland, via Zurich, to San Francisco this month.  The container […]
