Tom Cruise may be in the pilot’s seat in the new “Top Gun 2: Maverick,” but the film’s premieres needed some help from cargo carriers before they could take off.
Pacific Air Cargo flew a movie projector and lens from Los Angeles to Honolulu for the Hawaii premiere. The showing, which took place in the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum Hangar 79, was a special thank you to the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force. More than 1,500 military servicemembers and their families attended.
CEVA Logistics delivered a full-scale replica Eurofighter Typhoon jet from British aerospace company BAE Systems to Top Gun’s London premiere in Leicester Square. CEVA staff had seven hours to deliver and build the aircraft before the event, really feeling the need for speed.
