Though the World Cup winner has yet to be determined, Titan Airways was already a trophy-holder, if just for a short time. The charter carrier flew the World Cup trophy around the globe as part of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola.
The tour started Aug. 24 in Seoul, South Korea, and completed its final leg to host country Qatar from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (RUH) on Nov. 13 using an A320 aircraft decorated in Coca-Cola branding.
The trophy tour made 50 stops, including at all 32 World Cup-qualifying nations. Titan had to bend it like Beckham to make it to all destinations, but ultimately scored big, reaching the goal in Doha, Qatar.
