Saudia Cargo yesterday became the latest cargo carrier to launched a high-priority shipper service, called “Fly Express,” which offers delivery of urgent international shipments of up to 300 kilograms from Saudi Arabia to various airports across Europe.
The high-priority service is able to accept shipments as late as three hours prior to the scheduled time of departure and includes expedited handling services upon arrival and a money-back guarantee.
Fly Express currently ships airport-to-airport from the following hubs: Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt, London, Milan and Paris, London inbound to Saudi Arabia. By this December, the service is expected to expand to Hong Kong, the Jeddah-based carrier said.
“The launch of this service will meet the needs of our clients who transport urgent cargo requiring rapid handling and short delivery period,” said Saudia Cargo CEO Omar Hariri.
Saudia Cargo began the development of Fly Express for its cargo facilities in King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) in Jeddah and King Khalid International Airport (RUH) in Riyadh, providing special warehousing for temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical goods, dangerous goods and other specialty shipments.
