Air France-KLM expands Kenya Airways Cargo agreement

Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo has expanded its interline partnership with Nairobi-based Kenya Airways Cargo by adding flights to three new African destinations: Lubumbashi (FBM) in Congo; Pemba (POL) in Mozambique; and Lusaka (LUN) in Zambia.

With these additions, the number of cities served in the interline cargo network has risen to ten. The other destinations include Douala (DLY) and Yaoundé (NSI) in Cameroon; Entebbe (EBB) in Uganda; Juba (JUB) in South Sudan; Kinshasa (FIH) in the Democratic Republic of Congo; Mombasa (MBA) in Kenya; and Zanzibar (ZNZ) in Tanzania.

The cargo destinations will be served out of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) by two 737-300 freighters operated by Kenya Air Cargo, the freight division of Kenya Airways. In addition to the 737Fs, Kenya Airways Cargo offers belly capacity and charter brokerage services, mainly to freight forwarding agents, courier companies and postal corporations.

Kenya Airways operates direct flights to more than 26 destinations and, along with its strategic partner airlines, provides cargo connections to more than 100 destinations.
